Dystopian/Post-Apocalyptic novels are super-popular right now. You hit the nail on the head! The cover and interiors are well designed. I would have liked to see chapter titles, but it isn’t a major detraction. Your writer’s voice is fantastic. However, there are some grammatical errors. Your opening chapter is fantastic! You really grab the reader with immediate excitement and a challenge. The reader really gets to know and take an interest in your main character Gideon, who takes on the quintessential Hero’s Journey. It’s great how he grows and changes throughout the story. All of your characters are well developed. The pacing of your story is really good. There are very few lags, but the overall story moves a long with excitement, twists, and adventure. Some of your lines are great! One of my favorites is when Gwendolyn says, “Everyone has a monster raging inside them, Gideon.” It might be a little cliché, but it works for your book. Great story! I look forward to reading more from you.

"The plucky, aggressive young hero absorbs massive physical punishment along the way but keeps rallying. This fact provides a major clue to one of several twists in the book’s third act, which leaves enough story strands dangling for a potential sequel."
